Hola! I’m Renee – the chica behind the camera and the one lucky enough to capture some pretty special moments.

One thing that really matters to me is the care and attention I bring to every wedding and photo shoot I photograph. I don’t do things by halves – I pour a huge amount of time, effort and heart into every single session I’m part of. It’s never just about turning up, lining people up and snapping photos. I’m there to fully immerse myself in the experience – to connect with you and your people, and capture everything as it naturally unfolds. The laughs, the happy tears, the quiet in-between moments… all the bits that make it uniquely yours. I genuinely LOVE what I do, and I take so much pride in it.

Because at the end of it all, your photos are what you’ll look back on for years to come – and I put a lot of heart into making sure they’re something really special.

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm in Colyton, Manawatū, where I was forever dressing up lambs, cats and dogs for photoshoots (don’t worry – no animals were harmed, just a lot of floof and hilarious chaos). Since then, that love has only grown – through travel, meeting incredible people, and experiencing different places and cultures along the way.

But more than anything, I just love working with people. Whether it’s calming nerves, getting kids giggling, or capturing all the excitement of a wedding day, I want you to feel relaxed, comfortable, and completely yourselves in front of the camera. That’s when the magic happens.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m usually at home with my three kids or eating cheese, walking the dogs, learning 90s pop dance routines with the kids (we have ALOT of fun), heading out for brunch with family or friends, planning our next road trip, collecting vintage troll dolls, listening to true crime podcasts, planning the next live music gig with friends, putting coriander on everything, and organising the next family bake-off. I am the cheesecake queen… I’ve earned that crown.
